My life experiences, from childhood through to my seventh decade, are the inspiration for my work with kiln-formed glass. Each series of my work is inspired by a time in my life that I wish to examine, a time on which I reflect fondly or on a period that is dark and mysterious. Perhaps this is part of reaching the final years of life. As I design and manipulate the form, colour and structure of the glass with which I work I am also richly contemplative of the times of my life.
